You are bidding on a Great GRAFLEX "Anniversary" SPEED GRAPHIC PRESS VIEW CAMERA ,with all the extras ,and a compartmented leather clad case,as well. this is a "Show-Piece" example of this iconic field/press camera.. It comes with a very desirable Carl Zeiss/Jena "Tessar" f1:4.5/150 mm F=4.5 (15cm.)lens mounted in the "Compur" Shutter, marked "F. Deckel ~ Munchen ,Germany.. # A43502" ..The Lens is (Serial.# Nr. 2534303).There is the standard applied plaque for aperture settings on the top of camera.. imprinted "Folmer Graflex Corp., Rochester,New York". The Serial number on the camera is 315093,which dates it to aprox.1942.. * Note.. There is no "Speed Graphic" nameplate above the lens board,which may mean this camera was a Military/Army issue,but I am not certain on that.It has a Leather clad Brass main body,and the bed rails are cast aluminum. The camera comes with a Kalart Focuspot synchronized range-finderEverything is in the hard -sided leather case that has served its' purpose well in protecting the camera/attachments.. The camera extends out easily on the focusing rails,and the bellows are solid,with no damage or holes.. CONDITION: Excellent ..The leatherette covering, is excellent..this camera,and accessories are in "near - mint" condition.. everything I see cosmetically looks like it will be ready to go,out of the case.I had a friend that was a camera salesman check it over,and he knows way more than I do about cameras .It checks out in all functions.Focus is great,in all settings All movements,knobs,gears,and latches on camera and case work properly.Bellows are very clean,and light tight.The Zeiss/Tessar 150mm Lens is clean(no haze,fungus,or scratches). Compur / Germany Shutter fires properly ,at all settings.Ground glass is excellent.The Bed Rails are solid ,with no wear,and the Range Finder is bright,and clean..the attachments/accessories are also very clean,the.Please view the gallery photos ,they are part of the description.and message with any questions.
