Classic Singer design 81-10 sewing machine. More specifically, it is an over edge serger which binds a completed edge on low-pile carpets, bath mats, steed blankets, automobile floor mats, aircraft carpeting, and so on. Serial number dates from 1937. Equipment is dusty from sitting still for 20+ years, however 1/3 hp electric motor works great (extremely quiet) and equipment runs smoothly. This serger is industrial grade, very heavy and a genuine work equine. Comes with work table, a number of boxes of thread, lubing oil, extra needles and some tools. Nothing beyond exactly what you see in the photos. Online study put a value from $350-700 depending upon condition, completeness, or non-working. This device has all the initial parts, table, treadle, motor, etc. All it requires is some TLC by someone who wishes to take the time to thoroughly clean it. Ready for work or the enthusiastic Singer collector. Too heavy to ship - get just. Thanks for looking!
