Marketed is a just recently reconditioned road bike. Taken from an outdated, 1908s racer, to an existing sport-ready road bicycle. Great for a new bicyclist or an experienced road warrior trying to find a brand-new equipment. I'm currently trying to wrap up some upgrades to my existing race bike and have to dump this classic. It's an old aluminum Cannondale and weighs in at roughly 22-24lbs with a stand over height of about 30 inches. The majority of the major parts have actually been upgraded, and replaced with brand-new ones. Among the replacements & upgrades are:. 1. Brand name new wheelset: Mavic Aksium 650c wheels with new tires (about 50 miles on the tires themselves given that the upgrade; going to add a pair of 700c wheels with 9 speed cassette for an extra $100).2. 9 speed Sora brake lever-shifter mix (upgraded from original Suntour LePree downtube shifters).3. 9 speed Tiagra rear derailleur (updated from initial Suntour LePree six-speed derailleur).4. Sora front derailleur.5. 9 speed Shimano cassette.6. Brand brand-new Bontrager cork handlebar tape!7. New brake and shifter cable televisions, with new cable housing.8. (Nashbar road brake calipers: preparing for delivery 7/15/14 and sale-ready by 7/18/14. I'll be prepared to knock $50 off the complete price)if you desire to take shipment prior to that date.
