This is an Elkhart era 8D with custom leadpipe and bell ordered directly from Conn specifically for this horn. The bell has an Alexander ringset installed by Pope in NY. The horn is unlacquered and has a sweet patina/glaze.It will come with a fixed bell hard case, detachable bell gig bag and a gold plated Farkas DC mouthpiece. The leather hand guard and plastic bell assembly protector will also be included.The one, and only, small dent is visible just past the 3rd valve…it’s been there ever since I’ve owned this horn and does not affect it playing. Valve compression is tight and this horn plays quite centered.I am a retired band director and do not play anymore. Hoping this gets into the hands of a music major or someone who will take care of it!
