Star MVR has some back tooth points that require filing down every few months. We're looking for a home or foster/sanctuary home for him. He's one of the older bunnies from the Mar Vista Rescue of 2022, meaning he's over 2 years of age. Being an older and wiser bunny than many of the other MVRs, Star MVR doesn't fear humans as much as distrust them. He has a strong spirit from fighting off the raccoons and other rabbits. He isn't bitey, just tough and not trusting of humans. Who can relate? He has excellent house habits and doesn't ask for much... he just wants to feel safe. larabbits.org to applyAdoption processOur rabbit adoption fee includes the neuter, vaccination and micro chip (we do not adopt out unaltered rabbits under any circumstances). Rabbits must live in an indoor, cage-free environment. Exercise pens that are at least 4' x 4' with additional run time in a rabbit-proofed room are acceptable. Note: We do not adopt out of the Greater Los Angeles area unless the adopter has previously adopted from us.Shelter locationWe are adopting out rabbits by appointment only. Location of meeting place will be provided after potential adopters and organization have agreed on meeting specific rabbits. Our weekly mobile adoption venue is ON HOLD for nowdue to COVID-19. All rabbits will have to be vaccinated for RHDV2 to meet there in future.
