Janie is a sweet one-eyed girl that would love to have a quiet home of her own with a kind and patient person. A small catio would be a huge plus for her as she does love to sit in the sunshine and breathe the fresh air.She was part of a group of 30+ kitties that were surrendered to Catmandu when their owner had to move and could not take the cats with them.While she is a little afraid of people she doesn't know and easily startles, she is super sweet once she is comfortable and loves pets and treats. I believe she would blossom in a home of her own with the right person or family. While she would not do well with small children or in a noisy active household, she would be fine with mellow older children.If you'd like to meet me and maybe take me home, fill out the Online Pre-Adoption Questionnaire on our website, www.catmanduCC.org (https://www.catmanducc.org/adoptions#:~:text=Fill%20out%20the%20Online%20Pre%2DAdoption%20Questionnaire)Then come by Catmandu Friday through Sunday to meet the kitties and talk with an adoption specialist. Adoption hours are 11 am to 4 pm. Plan to arrive no later than 3 pm so you have time to spend with the cats before adoptions close at 4. Please bring a carrier in case you find your purrfect friend.Renters must bring a copy of their lease showing they are allowed to have a cat.June 23, 2023, 12:21 amAdoption processWe do not adopt "sight-unseen" or ship out of state. You must visit in person to choose your new family member.Shelter locationWe are open to the public Friday through Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm. We ask potential adopters to come no later than 3:30 pm so they can spend plenty of time with the cats before we start dinner/afternoon meds, and close at 5 pm
