ITEM DESCRIPTION:A chair that makes a lasting impact and offers comfort, beauty and a ‘wow’ moment. Has round ball finials, a scrolled crest and very ornate, hand woven openwork. Has lots of scrolls and curlicues. There was a woven seat originally which was replaced with an antique, tooled leather seat. We attribute this chair to Heywood Wakefield. Has been painted white. There are two crossed wood stretchers. Send us your zip code for a UPS shipping quote information. Is in excellent condition, for a 130 year old chair. Very sturdy, no breaks or repairs, other than the seat replacement. Weighs about 20lbs.
